There has been ST chatter followed by player chatter about the possibility of a Garou adjunct to Resurgence. As it is proposed now, the Garou game would be small as a chance to see how the Garou who are situated at a small swamp Caern to the west of the city might affect the goings on in the city. It's a chance to expand and provide extra opportunities.
The Proposal: 1. We're looking for two or three 3-7 unit packs of Garou. 2. No PC Cubs 3. No PC Kinfolk, but they may be present as required by the Kinfolk background 4. All Garou must be part of a pack. To facilitate this, STs will have ready-made packs to join. As an alternative, PCs may be created already in a pack with other PCs. 5. Non-aggression Treaty in place between City Court and Sept. 6. Some Tribal restrictions. 7. Designated RP day each week, one Plot day each month.
Setting as Proposed: 1. Swamp Caern - Ancient Caern rediscovered in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, as of 2016, in the 11th year of protection by the Garou Nation. 2. Caern very close to city occupied by Vampires who vastly outnumber the Garou.

In the light of the previous poll, we have more decisions to make. The next one is timing. We have, in the past, begun our games at 8:00 pm on Thursday and Saturday and run until midnight or until people can't remain conscious anymore. Soft RP can take place any night of the week.
The way I propose we handle scheduling with Garou in the mix is as follows starting in March.
1st, 2nd, 3rd weeks of the month, Soft RP during the week with Saturday Vampire Plot beginning 7:00 PM 4th week of the month, Soft RP during the week, Sunday afternoon Garou Plot. beginning 3:00 pm
The soft RP days would have to be group consensus and can be conducted with or without an ST or Narrator.
Eliminating the Thursday plot night is just a matter of what works. No one can really stay up as late on Thursdays as we can on Saturdays.
I'm looking for at least 1 more narrator. Current staff: Jesse, Bex (STs), Lauren, Jacob, Fyre (Narrators). Apply in PM to Bex or Jesse.
I would like feedback on this thread for the next week.

Works for me; I think having 2 plot nights a week was a bit much for most of us, and can also lead to ST burn out. To clarify, 7pm EST?

I admit, I do kind of like the possibility of "get together and share info" night. But getting people to use the forums more is another good way to do that. And know for some people, Sunday afternoons can be bad.

Yes, to clarify, 7:00 EST (or EDT as it changes in the spring).
Now I can begin with my confession regarding the reasoning for Sunday afternoon scheduling for Garou. Since this ST staff comprises a committed romantic couple, we've come to realize that we need a date night. We would like one Saturday night a month to get dressed up, go out to eat and LARP. We realize that Sunday afternoon can be difficult for some people. That's why it can go for a longer period of time. 3:00 pm to midnight is not too long a time commitment for me. That way it can be a "come when you can" session that can include bits for combat characters and non-combatants.
That brings another aspect to this post: With the expression of interest in PC Kinfolk, I will open perhaps 2 slots for them. Realize that Kinfolk are crunchy and taste good with ketchup. They won't always be able to stay on the Caern. They will probably, given the nature of the setting, have to, as a matter of course, maintain residences and employment in the city and will be subject to Vampire plot, but if you want to, bring them on out. ST discretion applies and these characters will be highly scrutinized. They will not be accepted without a well thought out background.

And for those of us who really can't make sunday at all? We miss out on everything, or come in so late there's no point of us even logging in

Yeah, that was my worry. I know there's people that just can't make that time. And that's speak usually, if I have to do shopping, when I do it since Saturday is recover from 5 13 hour days day.
